US President Joe Biden said he hopes to further expand oil supply after meeting with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 15th.
“We are doing everything we can to increase supply,” Biden told reporters. “The Saudi side also understands the urgency of the problem, and from this day’s talks I expect more action in the coming weeks,” he said.
Mr Biden’s visit to the Middle East has yet to reach a commitment to increase crude oil production, but U.S. government officials welcome OPEC Plus’ efforts to increase supply and look forward to further action. I’m getting closer.
