Sunday (5/5) marked a new beginning in Bilal Indrajaya’s musical career. After approximately five years of making music as a soloist, Bilal Indrajaya finally successfully held his first solo concert with the Aksara Records family.
Taking place at Soehana Hall, SCBD, the concert, entitled Nelangsa Kala Purnama, presented various numbers from Bilal Indrajaya’s discography, as well as several other songs.
For almost 120 minutes, all pairs of eyes in the room that night watched the special offerings that Bilal Indrajaya presented. He divided his set into three acts with different musical compositions than the other stages.
A total of 18 songs were sung by Bilal, starting from his previous releases such as Biar and Ruang Kecil, which on that occasion were performed with the producer, Vega Antares.
Then the numbers on the EP Purnama to material from his latest release, the album Nelangsa Pasar Turi.
Apart from Vega Antares, several relatives also joined in to enliven Bilal’s set on stage yesterday, including the song Yang Tercinta, which was sung with J Alfredo, then In Embrace with Kurosuke, and which was one of the highlights of the evening, the collaboration between Bilal Indrajaya performing his last single Dara with the songwriter, Ilman Ibrahim and young soloist, Bernadya.

On this occasion last night, Bilal also gave a special dedication to the late Firza Achmar Paloh, by covering a song that was once again popularized by the Sore music group, Go Without a Message.
That night was special, it felt close, warm, full of energy. Nelangsa Kala Purnama was held with a limited number of spectators and received a positive response from music lovers Bilal Indrajaya.
This was proven by the tickets being sold out in just over an hour and the euphoria radiating at the venue, making it a sacred night for Bilal Indrajaya’s journey.
Nelangsa Kala Purnama is planned to continue to other big cities, as the contents of the Nelangsa Pasar Turi album depict many of the journey. (RO/Z-1)
