The section from Ong Bo Bridge to Huu Nghi intersection has also completed the construction of a rainwater drainage ditch to prevent flooding on the left side of the 120m long route in front of Lotte supermarket (Thuan An city).

The construction unit also completed the construction of a 40m long box culvert connecting to the Binh Hoa canal outlet.

Regarding site clearance progress, the section passing through Thu Dau Mot City has had 100% site handover. The section passing through Thuan An City, accounting for most of the total length of Highway 13, is still being handed over.

The slow relocation of the power grid is also one of the difficulties that has slowed down the construction progress of National Highway 13 recently.

Currently, Binh Duong is completing the investor selection process, expected to complete the relocation in the first quarter of 2024 and hand over 100% of the premises in the second quarter of 2024. It is expected that the entire project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13 will be completed in 2024.
