BJP leader appointed government lawyer; CPM organization in opposition

Idukki: The CPM is dissatisfied with the appointment of a BJP leader as a government lawyer. Idukki BJP leader Vinoj Kumar has been appointed Additional Prosecutor and Additional Govt. Appointed to the position of Pleader. The CPM Bar Association came out in protest.

The party alleges that the BJP leader was appointed as the government’s lawyer with the intervention of some district leaders. Vinoj Kumar, a former BJP district secretary, was also in charge of the OBC Morcha. CPM activists allege that the appointment of such persons would go once morest the government’s position in court.

The law department is headed by Minister P Rajeev.
