Blackmagic Design is showcasing the new Atem Television Studio 4K8 at NAB, a live production switcher with an integrated broadcast panel, 12G-SDI connectivity and UHD 60p support.
The Atem Television Studio 4K8 is designed to offer all of the broadcast features of the Atem Television Studio HD model, with added support for Ultra HD standards for up to 2160p60. The Atem Television Studio 4K8 offers eight scalable 12G-SDI inputs, ten 12G-SDI aux outputs for external recorders and one 10G-Ethernet-Switch mit vier Ports.
The mixer then also supports live streaming, talkback and an optional internal network storage. For precise control of DVE is a joystick available. There is also a fade control lever and the usual selection buttons for the currently active camera stream.
