Blaise Matuidi: world champion ends career

World champion Blaise Matuidi ends his career at the age of 35. The Frenchman, who won the world title with the Equipe Tricolore in Russia in 2018, announced the end of his career in a YouTube video.

“It’s curtain time,” said the midfielder.

Matuidi moved from Juventus Turin to Inter Miami, club of former football star David Beckham, in August 2020.

However, he was no longer used by the MLS club in the 2022 season.
