The BMW XM is a modern interpretation of the Sports Activity Vehicle and was born as a result of the innovative fusion of the BMW M high-performance model and cutting-edge plug-in hybrid technology.
The all-new BMW XM is the first car to bear the M badge entirely since its introduction BMW M1 It is the latest release from the automotive group to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the M high-performance sports editions.
The new car is distinguished by the newly developed M HYBRID drive system, its elegant design and the luxurious atmosphere in the cabin. The XM is ideal for driving on various terrains and is in line with the driving conditions in the Gulf region and the Middle East. It is also equipped with a 4WD Sand mode, which was developed specifically for off-road and paved roads alike.

The XM’s M HYBRID drive system produces a combined power of 653 hp and is supported by a high-revving V8 engine with advanced M TwinPower Turbo technology. The 4.4-liter engine is assisted by an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, delivering a maximum torque of 800 Nm.
The BMW XM accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and that powerful acceleration is reflected in the car’s energy-charged sound, which gets even louder thanks to the twin hexagonal exhaust pipes that are placed for the first time in a BMW M model on top of each other. In addition, work has been done to develop BMW IconicSounds Electric in cooperation with Hans Zimmer, the famous composer of the most important films in Hollywood, in order to compose bass notes that express the energy generated by the electric motor.
The intelligently managed interaction between the petrol engine and the electric motor provides an outstanding performance experience worthy of the M badge in all driving conditions. The M Hybrid button on the center console of the new BMW can be used to select one of three operating modes, including electric mode for emission-free travel at speeds of up to 140 km/h and a maximum distance of 88 km in accordance with the WLTP cycle. The one-piece BMW Curved Display seamlessly delivers information and puts a world of connectivity at customers’ fingertips via a 4.9-inch touchscreen control.
Also in terms of design, the front of the car revives BMW’s luxury heritage with the “Iconic Glow” kidney grille, and the unique appearance of the XM is complemented by 23-inch light-alloy wheels and an exclusive eye-catching stripe in Night Gold. Standard interior features include multifunctional M seats and knee pads, as well as a spacious feel and luxurious design that transforms the rear of the BMW XM into an exclusive M Lounge.
The first BMW XM is now available for sale in authorized BMW Group showrooms in the region.
