Boricua could help Elon Musk buy Twitter

Elon Musk is in talks with private equity firm Thoma Bravo to partner and together make an offer to buy Twitter.

Thoma Bravo is an investment management and growth company focused on the software and technology industry. One of its founders is the Puerto Rican Orlando Bravo who is also the Director of Strategy and Investment Decisions. Bravo was born in Mayagüez and studied at Brown and Stanford.

Previously the firm had made approaches to make a purchase offer to Twitter on its own, but sources say that now they will only do so in association with Musk.

The also CEO of Tesla and Space X claims to have $46.5 billion in cash for the offer.

Thoma Bravo and Elon Musk seek with their association to create a more attractive offer so that Twitter cannot refuse.

According to a Twitter spokesperson, the company’s current shareholders are carefully evaluating the proposal that Musk has already presented and have so far neither accepted nor denied.
