For Boris Johnson, the scenario for this Saturday July 30 might be called a wedding and a funeral. Not the funeral of his life as a bachelor, but of his career at 10 Downing Street, he who is resigned from his post as Prime Minister since July 7, pushed out by his own conservative friends. On September 5, he will give way either to Liz Truss, Minister of Foreign Affairs, or to Rishi Sunak, ex-Chancellor of the Exchequer (Finance), the two finalists facing the vote of some 160,000 elected officials, executives and Tory activists (the conservative Party).
