Boy unleashes shooting at Finnish school; a minor dies
HELSINKI. — A 12-year-old student died and two were injured after a companion the same age shot up in a school high school in southern Finland, according to police.
armed police They cordoned off the schoolwhich has about 800 students, in the city of Vantaa, just outside the capital, Helsinki, after receiving a tip about a shooting at 9:08 in the morning.
Police said both the suspect and the victims were 12 years old. They later managed to arrest the suspect with a gun in his possession.
According to preliminary investigations, the perpetrator of the shooting he shot his three companions with a gun belonging to a close relative.
One of the children died and the other two were seriously injuredthe police said.
