Jakarta, Indonesia – August 27, 2025 – BP-AKR, the operator of BP gas stations in Indonesia, confirmed today that several locations in Jakarta are experiencing limited stock of BP Ultimate and BP 92 gasoline. “At present some BP gas station networks are experiencing limited stock of fuel oil (BBM) BP Ultimate and BP 92,so they cannot serve the sale of fuel products in full,” Laura said in a statement.
The BP Perdatam Pancoran gas station in South Jakarta is among those affected, currently only offering BP Ultimate Diesel. Customers have been observed leaving the station unable to purchase the gasoline they need. Station staff report the shortages of BP 92 and BP Ultimate began on Monday.
BP-AKR is actively working to resolve the issue, coordinating with relevant parties to restore fuel stocks. The company is also exploring alternative domestic supply options and optimizing distribution networks to minimize further disruption.
“We understand the importance of continuity of fuel supply for customers to support their daily mobility. Because of this very reason, BP-AKR is committed to recovering the availability of fuel stocks by actively coordinating with related parties, as well as optimizing distribution, looking for alternative domestic supplies, and preparing operational scenarios so that customer service is maintained,” Laura explained.
