Dr. Hossam Mowafi, Professor of Critical Cases at Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine, stressed the need to visit a doctor when feeling a headache, especially if it is accompanied by some symptoms.

Mowafi said, during his hosting of the “Bab Al-Khalq” program, presented by the journalist Mahmoud Saad, that a headache could be a warning sign of a brain tumor.

The professor of critical care medicine added that headache becomes a sure sign of brain cancer, if the patient suffers from the following symptoms:
Constant forgetfulness.
– vomiting.
– Blurred eye.

According to “Healthline”, the headache of a brain tumor differs from other types of headaches, as it causes frequent awakenings from sleep and painkillers do not find any benefit in relieving it.
