Exeed VX survived the update: changes in appearance are minimal, the main bet is made on the interior, which has been thoroughly revised. The public debut of the flagship SUV may take place in April 2023
The company is preparing for the premiere of Exeed VX called the new generation. In appearance, the changes can be counted on the fingers. So far, only the front end has been shown, which received a different bumper, different niches for fog lamps, a revised grille with vertical slats in chrome and copper colors, as well as a new silver body color.
Previously, low-quality images of the Exeed VX ‘2024 interior were published, now the brand has shared official images, which show the full scale of the changes more closely. First of all, of course, the front panel, which has lost its indistinct climate control unit, attracts attention.
Now the Exeed VX has a center console with a large built-in multimedia display, which is combined with two more screens – in front of the front passenger and tidy. If it’s not obvious to someone from which brand models the Exeed designers “licked” such a console, then look at the door cards with seat settings control panels. Yes, Chery and subsidiary Exeed continue to draw inspiration from Mercedes with their Hyperscreen. By the way, multimedia works on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chip, which allows you to implement more driver assistance functions and improve voice recognition, gestures, and so on.
Like the Mercedes, behind the sliding curtain on the tunnel there is a console with “hot” touch “keys”, the transmission selector is made in the form of a steering column lever, the “steering wheel” of the new Exeed VX is borrowed from the recently launched AtlantiX.
The photo shows a three-row cabin configuration with a “2 + 3 + 2” layout, but in the future – the appearance of a six-seater version of the Exeed VX. For the model, chairs with massage and ventilation, heated second row seats, a panoramic sunroof, an electric folding “gallery” drive, and an active noise reduction system will be available. More details will be told later.
According to unofficial information, the new Exeed VX will receive a two-liter SQRF4J20C gasoline engine boosted to 261 hp. The torque is 400 Nm. The motor is aggregated with an 8-speed “automatic” developed and manufactured by Chery.
In Russia, the pre-reform version of the Exeed VX is presented in trim levels with an all-wheel drive system, a 249-horsepower 2.0-liter in-line “turbo-four” and a 7-speed “robot” with two clutches. Prices start from 4,910,000 rubles.
