The body of a man was found this morning in the waters of the Louise basin in the borough of La Cité-Limoilou, in Quebec.
A call was made to the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) around 10:15 a.m. Saturday, concerning an inanimate body.

The nautical team was therefore immediately sent to the scene to retrieve the body of the man whose age is still not known.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances of the death, but according to the SPVQ, everything suggests that it was not a criminal act.
Authorities might not confirm whether the death was recent.
