A body in an advanced state of decomposition was found in a studio in Baerle-Duc (province of Antwerp), on the border with the Netherlands, confirms the Antwerp prosecutor’s office. It belongs to an 88-year-old man.
The cause of death has yet to be determined, but so far there are no clues to suggest foul play.
The body was discovered by the partner of the deceased. The inquest has yet to determine how long ago the octogenarian died.
