Thrissur ∙ The food safety department caught and destroyed 1570 kg of worm-eaten fish brought to Shalimar Express from Balasore in Odisha after hours of arguments. The food safety team and the police stood guard outside the platform of the Thrissur railway station after the railway authorities refused to release the foul-smelling fish for inspection.
