The firefighters actually intervened this Wednesday morning at the Saint-Tropez home of the 88-year-old actress, after she was victim of illness.
Contacted by Var-matin, her husband, Bernard d’Ormale, wants to be reassuring.
“The ambulances got the wrong address”he quips.
“It was around 9 a.m. when Brigitte had trouble breathing. It was harder than usual but she didn’t lose consciousness. Let’s call it a moment of respiratory distraction. The firefighters are arrived, put her on oxygen and stayed to watch her for a while.”
BB’s husband assures that the emergency response was sufficient to resolve the problem and that his wife would rest in their house in La Madrague, without respiratory support: “Like all people of a certain age, she can no longer stand the heat. It happens at 88, She must not make unnecessary efforts”he continues
Bernard d’Ormale specifies all the same that the star complained for several days of the heat “despite the air conditioning which is not very strong at home”.
The icon’s husband certifies that other examinations did not reveal any other difficulties: “His pulse is fine, his heart too and his blood pressure is good but things are still fragile.”

Last May, while the media claimed that the actress had stayed in intensive care, Brigitte Bardot had denied and wanted to clarify the situation in a handwritten letter.
“I want to reassure everyone. I’m doing very well”she wrote. “The press made a scandal with an illness that happened to me in January and which we are making a big fuss about today.”
The letter posted on his Twitter account referred to an article published at the end of April in the weekly France Sundaywhich referred to a worrying state of health and a stay in “intensive care” after one “severe respiratory failure”.
