Jason Halton, who was named Britain’s heaviest person, has died. Doctors tried to save his life, but excess weight and diseases took Jason’s breath away.
Jason Halton, from Camberley, Surrey, UK, was unable to walk due to his weight and had been housebound for the past 8 years.
However, Jason died of organ failure on Saturday.
Jason died a few days before his birthday, much to his mother’s dismay.
The son’s life had been saved 8 times and even this time we were hopeful that the doctors would be able to save him, but it might not be done.
Although the patient was placed on kidney dialysis and given 4 drips, organs were still failing, while 6 firefighters attended to take Jason to Royal Surrey County Hospital.
