Demi Moore, ex-wife of Bruce Willis, announced last spring that the star of Sixth Sense was retiring due to his health condition. Indeed, he suffered from cognitive and language disorders. Recently, the doctors had made a more precise diagnosis which said that the actor suffered from frontotemporal dementia.
He would no longer recognize his own mother
A first cousin of Bruce Willis’ mother has given an update on the actor’s condition to Bild, a German media. Marlene Willis, the actor’s mother, says she’s not sure her son recognizes her. “SMovements are very slow, with constant aggressiveness. He is no longer able to hold a normal conversation. This behavior is typical of patients who suffer from the same condition.” explain Wilfried Gliem, first cousin of the actor.
