More fear than harm this Tuesday for two window cleaners in Brussels. Around midday, Brussels firefighters intervened to help two workers stuck in their basket on the upper floors of a building, located on Boulevard du Roi Albert II. The RISC team was dispatched to the site to carry out the rescue.
The two window cleaners were finally evacuated safely. Their machine was manually operated by the firefighters to allow them to gain a foothold on the roof of the building. During this operation, they were secured by ropes and harnesses.
