Police in the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles area intercepted, during a moped control action organized on Thursday, the driver of an electric scooter traveling at around 60 km/h in the Alhambra district of Brussels , said the area in a statement on Friday.
Of the 48 mopeds checked, 11 were stopped for speeding. The operation gave rise to reports, among other things for lack of a driving license and driving under the influence of narcotics, for three drivers, the press release further specifies.
