PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is holding a fun homecoming event with BUMN and BSI 2024 to facilitate the community to stay in touch in their hometowns during Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.
This year BSI dispatched 644 homecoming travelers, with a total fleet of 15 buses, including 3 buses intended for people with disabilities.
The 2024 Homecoming Fun Program with BUMN and BSI is a collaborative program of the Ministry of BUMN together with all BUMN. This year’s BUMN homecoming collaboration program reached more than 94,753 homecoming participants from 88 BUMNs.

The destinations for homecoming travelers in this year’s 2024 Homecoming Fun with BUMN and BSI program are Surabaya, Solo, Yogyakarta, Pekalongan, Semarang, Purwantoro, Madiun.
Of the 644 homecoming travelers who took part in the 2024 Homecoming Fun with BUMN and BSI program, there were 500 regular homecoming participants and 144 homecoming travelers with disabilities.
BSI Main Director Hery Gunardi in his speech said that the 2024 Homecoming Fun with BUMN and BSI program is one of a series of BSI Milad and Ramadhan activities as an implementation of BSI as a social friend.

Previously, the company had also provided compensation to 3,333 orphans, as well as distributed company zakat worth IDR 222.77 billion.
“This is a form of implementing social and environmental responsibility [TJSL] BSI to the community. “Apart from that, this step is also expected to support the government’s efforts to smooth the homecoming flow and reduce the potential for traffic accidents for travelers using two-wheeled vehicles,” Hery, Thursday (4/4).
Homecoming services for people with disabilities is a form of BSI’s concern for those who have special needs compared to other travelers. The number of travelers returning to Eid al-Fitr this year is estimated to reach more than 190 million people.

“To support the smoothness and convenience of people who will celebrate Eid in their hometowns, especially for people with disabilities, we are moved to help by providing special vehicles to take them home,” said Hery.
In order to liven up the homecoming and Eid moments this year, BSI also provides services to customers by presenting 2024 Homecoming Service Posts at strategic points on several main homecoming routes.
The 2024 BSI Homecoming Service Post will take place from 3 to 9 April 2024 in a number of strategic locations. These include Rest Area KM 88 A Cipularang Toll Road towards Bandung, Rest Area KM 166 Cipali Toll Road towards Cirebon, as well as Bakauheni Harbor City Lampung.

The service takes place from 12.00 to 20.00 WIB. At these three locations there are also BSI mosques which can be used by travelers to worship and rest.
Specifically at Ciwandan Port, BSI will also provide a prayer room car from 4 to 9 April 2024. The presence of this prayer room car is expected to provide facilities for travelers to worship and rest, as well as make their journey more comfortable during the Eid homecoming season.
Different from previous years, the BSI 2024 Homecoming Service Post offers a more lively experience. Inside the post, there will be various interesting activities such as a children’s zone with various games, reflexology, selfie spot, and distribution of free takjil.

BSI also provides consulting services as well as service facilities for distributing zakat fitrah, zakat mal, infaq and sodaqoh, as well as other sharia financial solutions for travelers.
In order to improve services for customers, at the BSI 2024 Homecoming Service Post, homecoming travelers will also be introduced to several superior BSI products such as BSI Mobile, gold-related products, and the Indonesian Young Haji Savings.
