[한국강사신문 한상형 기자] According to Yonhap News, RM, the leader of the group BTS, announced that he introduced the album as “an exhibition-like album curated by himself” one day before the release of his first solo album “Indigo.”
On the afternoon of the 1st, RM wrote on the fan community Weverse, “Tomorrow, 15 years since I started music, my 1st album will be released in the last month of my 20s.”
He said, “I’ve always thought that all of my work, including my previous works, was for the sake of making this one album.” revealed
‘Indigo’ includes the title song ‘Wildflowers’ featuring vocalist Cho Yoo-jin of the band Cherry Filter, as well as ‘Still Life’, ‘All Day’, ‘Forgetfulness’, and ‘Closer’. A total of 10 songs are tightly packed.
In addition to Cho Yoo-jin, Erica Badu, Anderson Pack, Epik High Tablo, singer-songwriter Kim Sa-wol, British singer-songwriter Mahalia, R&B musician Paul Blanco, and singer-songwriter Cold and Park Ji-yoon participated as featured artists.
RM said, “Actually, I didn’t start (work) with a title song decided. All songs are really equal to me.” It’s a bit disturbing, but it wasn’t a song for hype (propaganda) or noise (noise) in the first place,” he explained.
He continued, “I think it’s enough if it can be recorded and bloomed in the hearts of many people with the same scent even after time passes.”
Regarding the splendid featuring participants, RM wrote, “A lot of people participated in my first solo album, so you may have been a bit puzzled.”
He also said, “The ‘frequency’ of everyone who participated was the number one recruiting target that I couldn’t bear to replace.” I wanted to be that kind of person to someone,” he thanked the participating singers.
RM said, “I try not to doubt that sincerity, sincerity, and love will surely reach with love, whether it was 10 years ago or now.” revealed
He added, “I’m trying to develop this album with a variety of my own content that I’ve been thinking about for a long time.”
RM’s first solo album ‘Indigo’ will be released on the 2nd at 2pm.
