On December 13, it was announced that the group member, Suga, will be introduced in the army to fulfill his obligation, the plans of the artist and the agency have not been specifically revealed, but regarding these rumors, a representative of BIGHIT MUSIC said:
BTS members will join the army sequentially according to their own solo plans, it is difficult to verify the artist’s personal information.
After the rumors surfaced, it was speculated that Min Yoon-Gi he would not be in the army due to an operation received in 2020, but apparently that surgery will not affect the fact that the artist provides his mandatory military service, since at that time, the agency issued an official statement explaining his decision to perform the operation.
In the statement they said:
Suga also believes that it is important for him to regain his health to prepare for his mandatory military service and his post-military music career.
Before carrying out the operation, the agency and the artist talked many hours and days about what was best for both of them, until in the end they both decided that doing it was the best option.
