That’s never happened in the Swedish royal family – that a couple publicly comment on rumors of divorce. Crown Princess Victoria and husband Daniel have done so, demonstrating their happy marriage, albeit rather awkwardly.

Rumors arose out of nowhere that the marriage between the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria (44) and her husband Prince Daniel (48) was in crisis. A week ago, they published the following statement on their social media pages: “Allegations of cheating in the relationship and an imminent divorce are making the rounds. In normal cases, we do not comment on rumors and speculation. But for the protection of our family, we want to make it clear once and for all that the rumors that are now circulating are completely unfounded.”
Now followed her first appearance after the speculation. The day before yesterday the couple visited the Swedish Institute for European Political Studies in Stockholm. Knowing that their behavior towards each other was being watched closely, they seemed more tense than ever.
