An emeritus hunter and inventor, Denis Proulx, launches the “Buck Thorax”, a rib cage retractor for big game, in the form of a telescopic stick.
This 100% stainless steel product prevents the transmission of bacteria between the tool and the venison of moose, deer, bear, bison or elk.
The “Buck Thorax” was made after many trials and expeditions over the years. Its designer wanted to find an alternative to the popular tree branch usually used in the forest, but not recommended in order to avoid contaminating the meat.
