Buhamid is the first Emirati in the International Monetary Fund

Emirati Mohammed Sultan Janahi “Bu Hamid” joined as the first young Emirati to join the International Monetary Fund; Within the Financial Integrity team.

Shamma Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said on Twitter: “Mohammed Sultan Janahi (Bu Humaid) began his professional experience as the first Emirati young man at the International Monetary Fund in Washington; Within the Financial Integrity team.

Mohammed is a graduate of the Young Economists Program of the Federal Youth Authority which was organized under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

She added, I would like to extend here special thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, which invested in the success of Mohammed’s experience as a role model for the rest of our youth to represent his country and region internationally, and thanks to the Ministries of Finance and Economy for their cooperation and support.

Mohammed works as the head of the Anti-Money Laundering Department at the Ministry of Economy, and holds a master’s degree in financial crimes and money laundering. He has persevered, learned and worked hard during his professional experiences in serving his country.

Al Mazrouei stressed that our Emirati youth are distinguished and able to compete globally, and they are the secret of our soft and rising power. We aspire to see more distinguished models of UAE youth in international institutions and bodies, and our national institutions will not be late to support and serve them with pride.
