When building a computer workstation for yourself, how about a clean and simple configuration? Wireless mouse and keyboard? Super discreet cable management? How about if the keyboard, mouse and display were not visible?

To have a mouse or not to have a mouse?
If we move on to the keyboard, don’t even look for an ultra-light gamer mouse, how about a zero-gram mouse? Well, that required a bit of cheating. That’s because they installed a depth-sensing camera in the fixture above the desk and incorporated a machine learning model designed by ChatGPT to act as a hand-tracking HID device. Nice idea and implementation, too bad the code wasn’t published.
The laptop’s display was removed from its chassis and embedded in the bottom of the table, along with supporting power supplies, a couple of fans, and a projector. To create the “floating” display, a piece of transparent plastic was treated with Lux labs “ClearBright” transparent display film, which allows the image from the projector to be dispersed and reassembled with enough clarity to be used as a PC display. We have to admit it looks a little kitschy, but playing Minecraft on this setup looks like a lot of fun.
