Bushwhacker Butch died at the age of 78 on April 2 late in the evening.
Indeed, the news was revealed by his partner Bushwhacker Luke who made the announcement on his Facebook. Bushwhacker Butch was rushed to hospital with an illness after landing in Los Angeles, California for WrestleMania 39 weekend.
He and Luke were supposed to participate in the weekend to do Meet and Greets, unfortunately everything was canceled. The Bushwhackers were a duo that became popular in the 1980s and 1990s through their stints with WWE (WWF) and the NWA. They were honored to have their place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
The precise cause of his death remains to be determined, but it was certainly related to this disease.
