Schengen-Air first important joint step
Vienna (OTS) – Romania and Bulgaria are important economic partners for Austria’s economy; our companies are the second most important foreign investor in both countries and have important sales markets in the region. The WKÖ therefore welcomes the current agreement with regard to Schengen Air as an important joint step.
A strong European economy can only take place in a consolidated European internal market. This also includes the implementation of the free movement of persons within the framework of Schengen, provided that the applicable conditions have been implemented. To achieve this, further discussions need to be held with a view to comprehensive solutions. (PWK489/us)
