Buster Juul’s Aalborg heart has become too big

It is a true Aalborg institution that is a guest in the newest episode of North Jutland’s handball podcast, GIGA.

The winger Buster Juul is starting his 11th season with Aalborg Handball, following he was brought to the club from Skanderborg in his time. He recently signed a two-year contract extension, so he’ll also sit through seasons 12 and 13.

– I have settled in well and enjoy life. I am also very aware of how privileged I am when I am allowed to live off my hoppy. I think I have the world’s coolest job, and I really appreciate it every single day, says Buster Juul in the podcast.

Here he also reveals where he sees himself when the contract with Aalborg Handball expires in 2026.

– In any case, I find it difficult to see myself playing in another Danish club. My heart for Aalborg Handball has simply become too big, says Buster Juul, who hopes that he can find another shelf in the sport when his career stops.

– I would really like to continue to be in the handball game, states the winger.

In GIGA he will be joined by Skjern’s sports director, Thomas Klitgaard, who has a past in both Vadum, Aalborg HSH and AaB Handball. The two guests duel on words before the DM semi-final between Aalborg Handball and the West Jutland handball institution.

You can listen where you normally find your podcasts – including on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
