Today, Saturday, the Third Circuit of the Cairo Economic Misdemeanor Court ruled that a well-known lawyer be punished with one month in prison and a bail of 5 thousand pounds, for accusing him of insulting and slandering Mortada Mansour.
In the last session, the judge recused himself from the case filed by Counselor Mortada Mansour, against a lawyer, on charges of insult and slander, out of embarrassment.
Mortada Mansour had filed a lawsuit against a lawyer on charges of insult, slander and defamation, bearing No. 242 of 2023 an economic misdemeanor, and it was considered by the Cairo Economic Court.
