The media center of the Council of Ministers stated that, in contact with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, which denied these reports, stressing that there is no truth to the spread of foot-and-mouth disease among livestock in Egypt as a result of the absence of vaccination campaigns to protect them, and that the health status of livestock in all governorates of the Republic is completely safe, stressing the provision of all Vaccinations and preventive vaccinations of livestock periodically against any epidemic diseases, noting that the third national campaign to vaccinate livestock against foot-and-mouth disease and Rift Valley fever has been launched since November 19, 2022 in all governorates of the Republic, appealing to all breeders to respond to vaccination campaigns in order to preserve livestock.
