calls Residente a failed communist

The singer of “Necklace of Fine Pearls”, Marbelle, was upset when she found out about a possible concert by René Pérez in Colombia. According to her, the former member of Calle 13 is a failed communist.

“While the Mexicans vetoed an artist for messing with their women… Here we welcome open arms to the depressive failed communist who comes to sing a beautiful composition for J. Balvin in our country…”, was Marbelle’s comment on her Twitter.

Marbelle’s publication came after Julio Correal’s businessman revealed on his podcast, ‘Péguelo’, that Resident would visit Colombia for the month of August.

The opinion of the composer of “Addicted to pain” reached this May 9 at 5,000 reactions on Twitter. In addition to going against the rapper and composer, Marbelle also made comments against supporters of Gustavo Petro.

“Petrists who welcome Residente and throw water in Karol G’s face… that’s right,” said Maureen Belky Ramírez Cardona, the artist’s first name.

This is not the first time that Marbelle has gone viral for her opinions. Last March she was at the center of controversy for her racist comments towards the vice presidential candidate, France Marquez.

Until now, Residente has not confirmed his visit to Colombia and has not referred to Marbelle’s comments.
