Officials of the Division of Investigations of Crimes Against Public Health of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), arrested a woman in Caricuao, usurping functions as a dentist and orthodontist.
The detainee was identified as IR Giménez Merchán and her detention was carried out in the UD4, Canagua Residential Complex, Caricuao parish, in Caracas, following verifying that, through skills, she performed dental and orthodontic work, without having the knowledge required for that purpose. , nor the corresponding health conditions, putting the health of those who came to the place at risk.
As evidence, three wet seals in the name of Doctor Jorge Eliécer Alvarez Narváez and one with the name Orthodontist Doctor Ismary Giménez, various equipment, instruments and medications for dental use and a cell phone were seized.
The case was made available to the 19th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas.
