Car collides with 3 motorbikes, killing 7 people

(PLO)- Despite being taken to Phu Quoc Medical Center by locals for emergency treatment, an 8-year-old boy and his biological father did not survive.

On February 5, on the road from Duong Dong to Cua Can (Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang province) there was a serious traffic accident that killed two people and injured five others.

Initial information, around 6 am on the same day, on the above road, four-seat car BKS 68E-010.11 circulated in the direction from Duong Dong to Cua Can. When coming to the section in front of the local gas station (in Ong Lang hamlet), suddenly changed to the left lane.

At this time, three motorbikes traveling in the opposite direction (moving in the right direction) collided head-on with the car. As a result, seven people on three motorbikes were seriously injured.

Immediately after, local people took the victims to Phu Quoc City Medical Center for emergency treatment. However, an 8-year-old boy and his biological father did not survive.

The remaining five injured people, one person has been discharged with minor injuries, while four others with serious injuries are being cared for by doctors. Among these, the mother of an 8-year-old boy suffered severe lung damage.

Also in Phu Quoc City, before that, on the evening of 1-2, on Nguyen Trung Truc Street (in Duong Dong ward), there was an accident that caused a 2-year-old baby to die on the way to the emergency room.

Specifically, at the above time, the 4-seat car BKS 68A-118.03 driven by Mr. NVH while turning into the house, collided with a child playing in front of the alley. Despite being rushed to the hospital by relatives, the baby died due to serious injuries.

According to local people, the 2-year-old boy lives with his mother and grandmother to rent a motel in alley 331 to live and trade fruit at the beginning of the alley.
