A vehicle crashed into a security gate outside the residence of US Vice President Kamala Harris, a Secret Service spokesman told NBC News.
The streets surrounding the site, which is located in northwest DC, are closed as a precaution.
The Secret Service has contacted the capital’s police to respond and assess the incident.
Local authorities have not yet issued official statements regarding this matter.
