President Vladimir Putin has been briefed continuously and from the first minutes of the deadly attack that took place earlier this evening at a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow, his spokesman said.
“From the first minutes of the incident at Crocus City Hall, the president was informed that shooting had begun. The president is constantly informed by all relevant agencies about what is happening and the measures being taken,” Dmitry Peskov said, according to Russian news agencies.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev vowed today that his country will “destroy” Ukrainian leaders if they are found responsible for a deadly attack on a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow.
“If they turn out to be terrorists of the Kiev regime … all of them must be found and mercilessly destroyed as terrorists. Including the leaders of the state that committed such brutality,” Medvedev, who is also second in command of the Russian Security Council, said in a Telegram message.
Ukraine has “absolutely nothing to do” with the shootings that took place earlier today that killed at least 40 people and injured more than 100 in Moscow, according to a provisional count, Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podoliak said, speaking of ” terrorist attack”.
