Young men attacked activists participating in a march called the “March of Freedoms,” which was supposed to start from Riad Solh Square toward the Ministry of the Interior in Beirut, under the title “For a complete guarantee of our freedoms and in response to successive violations.”
Information reported that three activists who were trying to reach the square were injured, while the assailants threatened to beat the demonstrators if they continued the march. Activists reported that they were besieged in central Beirut and were being attacked by opponents of the demonstration.
