Here plays Emma, a girl who doesn’t want to go out dancing because just broke up with her boyfriend and she doesn’t want to ruin her friend’s night. She prefers to stay at home, depressed, singing ballads of ABBA. No one is going to change her mind… until she finds out that that same night at the Waterloo disco there will be a competition to find a new host, Lady M’s successor, a drag queen who dazzles everyone with her charm. Competition is excuse What Emma needs to leave the pain behind and believe in herself again. It’s the ’80s and the disco is the place to free yourself, lose fear and let yourself go.

To this day, when I go to see a musical, it awakens something in my body of fanaticism, of wanting to be on stage and it reminds me all the time why I do this. I remember meeting my favorite actor and asking him who I study theater with. I think that’s good too and they tell you. And he reveals what his role is in this version of Waterloo: “I am the protagonist of the love story, something that brings sweetness. I am very similar to Emma. Luckily I also find challenges like singing live and she is also a very sweet character, a girl who has just separated from her boyfriend and doesn’t want to know nothing, she wants to stay at home crying all summer. But when Moira encourages her to go to Waterloo, she opens up to love without so much expectation, simply enjoying being herself and taking advantage of the moment. I think that’s going to help. having a lot of fun for Waterloo, I really want to start feeling this musical more in my skin.
