The seasons follow one another and sadly begin to look the same for Arnaud Démare. Little in sight in his first races of the season, the sprinter of the Arkea-B&B Hôtels team withdrew on Wednesday March 27 for the next three races on his calendar, namely Across Flanders, the Grand Prix de l’Escaut , but especially Paris-Roubaix.

His team did not wish to communicate a potential return date, leaving uncertainty surrounding the rest of the great classics of the season, including the Amstel Gold Race on April 14, a week after Paris-Roubaix. Still looking for his first podium of the season after two fifth places in the Palma Trophy and the first stage of the Tour of the Algarve, but above all a disappointing Paris-Nice, the former Groupama-FDJ rider will still have to wait several weeks to hope to raise my arms again.
