One hundred and twenty athletes from different sports, both sexes, participated, yesterday, in Luanda, in a demonstration festival to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the popular festivals of Cazenga, marked this Tuesday.
by the local administrator, Nádia Neto, the festival featured young federated athletes and not from the sports practiced in the municipality, with emphasis on basketball, handball, chess, wrestling, judo, football and skating.
On the occasion, the director of Youth, Sports and Free Time, André Soares, said that they are engaging young people in sports to create new values in different modalities.
He added that his management is committed to helping local clubs to continue working towards the emergence of new values, as Cazenga has already launched several athletes in different modalities.
