Water fairs and CBL could not be held for two years due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus epidemic. This time, the clubs and organizations had requested that the clubs and chundan boats that are leading in the Nehru Trophy Water Mela should be organized for CBL.

Even the clubs currently involved in the CBL signed contracts with the newly built chundan boats. These contracts had to be canceled after the nine boats and clubs that qualified in 2019 decided to compete. Must be rowed in any of the chundan boats in the current list.

Pallathuruthy Boat Club, NCDC. Kumarakam, Kerala Police Boat Club, Kumarakam Town Boat Club, KBC/SFBC Kumarakam, Village Boat Club Edatva, Punnamada Boat Club, Kumarakam Vembanad Boat Club and UBC Kainkari. .in B.L.

Nadubhag, Devas, Champakulam, Karichal, Paipadan, Mahadevikad Kattilthekethil, Ayaparam Pandi, Gabriel and Veeyapuram are the districts that have qualified to compete. 12 competition venues in Alappuzha, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts have been decided for the second edition of CBL starting with Nehru Trophy on 4th September and ending with Kollam President’s Trophy Water Fair on 26th November. CBL made Nehru Trophy Jal Mela the standard. It is argued that it would have been more exciting if it had been conducted. 12 clubs were also offered another option.

The organizers are of the view that since the league is aimed at international sponsors, there is no way but to find the clubs and boats in advance.
