Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Urals Federal District (UFD) Vladimir Yakushev congratulated the people of the Urals on Miner’s Day. He stated that the mining industry remains one of the key for the Urals.
“Congratulations to the miners on their professional holiday! For the Ural Federal District, the mining industry is of particular importance, it remains one of the key ones for the Urals,” said Yakushev. His words are reported by the press service on the official website.
Yakushev noted that the Ural specialists are responsible and united. “The mining brotherhood remains faithful to the traditions of mining. He steadfastly copes with all the difficulties, solves the assigned tasks with full dedication, ”he summed up.
The professional holiday Miner’s Day is celebrated annually in Russia on the last Sunday of August. This year the holiday fell on August 27th.
