Cellular provider wants to migrate customers: Thousands of users could soon be without a network

Lebara is said to have switched 800,000 SIM cards in the Telekom network. According to various sources, the provider might lose up to 300,000 customers in the course of the changeover.

However, apparently not only the customers but also Lebara themselves cause problems. Numerous customers report that they were informed regarding the changeover but did not receive a new SIM card. In these cases, customers are already disconnected from the network. Most of the time you got a new card from another provider.

To make matters worse, support is currently very difficult to reach. You have to reckon with waiting times of up to two hours for both the hotline and the chat. Lebara justifies this with high corona-related staff shortages.
