Cerro Porteño’s victory at home against Ameliano

Assumption.- El Ciclón defeated Sportivo Ameliano 3-0 at the close of matchday 13, in La Nueva Olla, a victory that allows the Obrero neighborhood team to continue as the only escort of the leader, Libertad, in the search for the Apertura Tournament title.

Cerro Porteño managed to stay at home, with the three points against Sp. Ameliano. The Barça victory was 3-0 with goals from Javier Báez, Cecilio Domínguez and Diego Churín.

A confusion in the blue V area ended in Javier Báez shouting for a goal around minute 8 of the first stage. In the complementary half, Carrizo found a corridor where he enabled Cecilio Domínguez who scored low to Rossi’s right post to extend the lead in the 51st minute and at the end, at 90′ Diego Churín took a dry shot from outside the area to sentencing the score to 3-0.
