Charles Leclerc in pole position at the Miami Grand Prix

Charles Leclerc, leader of the world championship, took pole at the Miami GP, inaugurated for the first time by F1. He beat his teammate at Ferrari, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz.

The second row goes to the Red Bull of the Dutchman Max Verstappen, third ahead of the Mexican Sergio Pérez.

Good qualification from Valtteri Bottas who put his Alfa Romeo in 5th position. While the Finn managed to finish in the top ten for the fourth time this year at the wheel of the Hinwil car, his teammate Zhou Guanyu was eliminated in the first phase. The Chinese will start Sunday from 17th position for the fifth race of the season.
