(PLO)- There are 10 suspended projects withdrawn by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province because the implementation deadline has expired but the investor still does not deploy, leaving the land uncultivated.
Recently, in an official dispatch to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) on the results of inspection and handling of projects and works that do not put land into use and are slow to use land, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province stated: specifically, infringing projects and works are being handled and withdrawn.
Specifically, in the period from 2014 to the end of 2022, in Dong Nai province, there were 65 projects and works with a total area of more than 2,319 hectares that violated the investment progress and delayed putting the land into use. Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee has extended the land use schedule for 42 projects with a total area of more than 539 hectares.
In particular, in the violating construction projects, the province decided to withdraw 10 projects that have been suspended for decades with a total area of nearly 24 hectares. In which, 5 projects have been extended, but when the extension time expires, they still do not deploy.

Among the withdrawn projects, the most in Nhon Trach district include: Phu Hoi restaurant project invested by Dong Nai Tourism Joint Stock Company; housing for workers in Long Tan commune, the investor is DIC Dong Tien Joint Stock Company; The station providing agricultural materials is invested by Dong Nai Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company and the Petrol General Warehouse in Phuoc Khanh Commune is invested by COMECO Petroleum Materials Joint Stock Company.
Other recalled projects in other localities include: Trang Bom plaza project in Trang Bom town, the investor is Sonadezi Industrial Park Development Corporation; Project of wedding restaurant in Xuan Hoa ward (Long Khanh city) of Tin Nghia Corporation; Hoa Binh hotel expansion project in Quyet Thang ward (Bien Hoa city) invested by Dong Nai Tourism Joint Stock Company
Project to build the office of Hieu Liem Cooperative in Hieu Liem commune, Vinh Cuu; Construction project of Hung Dao Vuong high school (Thong Nhat district and a project to build a transaction office of a bank in Cam My district.
Besides, Dong Nai province is still handling 18 projects with an area of 1,724ha such as the low-income housing area in Bien Hoa city of Minh Luan Co., Ltd; Residential, service and tourist area on Tan Van island (Bien Hoa city) of Tin Nghia Asia Investment Joint Stock Company; or Phu Hoi commercial residential area, Nhon Trach district of Bitexco Group Co., Ltd.…
