Mumbai: The Chennai Super Kings suffered a major setback ahead of today’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. Star bowling all-rounder Deepak Chahar, who was injured during the series against the Windies, is all set to miss the entire IPL season.
Chennai team management and fans were hopeful that Deepak Chahar would be able to play by the end of this month. However, Chahar suffered another setback during his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. After losing the first 4 matches of the tournament, Chennai are now at the bottom of the points table.
