Chiayi E-Commerce Entrepreneur Seeks 9 Million NTD From Wife and 3 Men

Chiayi’s well-known e-commerce entrepreneur, widely recognized online as the snack magnate “Fat Boss,” found his five-year marriage disintegrating into a bitter public spectacle after discovering his wife was involved in simultaneous affairs with a pharmacist, a real estate executive, and a police officer, SET News reported. What began as private domestic betrayal quickly spilled into a public feud when the vendor, who married his wife on November 30, 2020, and shares three children with her, discovered the scale of the infidelity through text messages, photographs, and audio recordings.

According to court documents detailed by SET News, the ensuing legal battle laid bare a staggering timeline of unfaithfulness spanning multiple cities across Taiwan. Between late 2024 and mid-2025, the defendant engaged in approximately 33 to 34 intimate encounters with three different men. The records show she met with a pharmacist for 8 encounters across Taipei, Yilan, Changhua, and Taichung between November 2024 and May 2025, and had 4 encounters with a real estate executive between March and May 2025. Most notably, her relationship with a police officer involved 21 to 22 separate meetings in Kaohsiung and the officer’s residence between November 2024 and February 2025, with court logs recording a frequency of six encounters on a single day.

Public Retaliation and the Fight for Damages

Faced with what he termed a devastating betrayal, the e-commerce figure took his grievances directly to social media in June 2025. By October 2025, the couple signed formal divorce papers, bringing their five-year marriage to a close.

In the civil proceedings that followed, the entrepreneur sought 9 million New Taiwan Dollars in damages from his ex-wife and the three men involved. The legal defenses varied significantly among the defendants. While the ex-wife and the pharmacist did not contest the core facts of the physical relationship and focused instead on arguing that the requested compensation was excessive, the real estate executive and the police officer maintained their innocence. The real estate executive argued that his intimate contact was merely a byproduct of comforting a woman unhappy in her marriage, while the police officer insisted their relationship never crossed into physical intimacy.

Court Rejects Denials Using Text Messages and Photographs

The Chiayi District Court ultimately rejected the denials put forward by the male defendants, citing text messages, photographs, and the ex-wife’s own admissions as definitive proof that the interactions had thoroughly undermined the marital bond. As LINE Today noted, the court weighed the financial standing of all parties involved—noting the entrepreneur’s substantial asset portfolio alongside the varied economic profiles of the defendants—before handing down its judgment.

Defendant Group Reported Encounters Court-Ordered Compensation
Pharmacist 8 (Taipei, Yilan, Changhua, Taichung) NT$450,000 (jointly with ex-wife)
Real Estate Executive 4 (Residence) NT$400,000 (jointly with ex-wife)
Police Officer 21–22 (Kaohsiung and residence) NT$300,000 (jointly with ex-wife)

The court ordered the ex-wife and her former partners to jointly pay a total of 1.15 million New Taiwan Dollars in damages for inflicting severe mental distress and breaching marital trust, though the ruling remains subject to appeal.

Business Turmoil and Returning to the Screen

The domestic scandal unfolded against a backdrop of severe commercial pressure for the entrepreneur. As Mirror Daily pointed out, the business empire often described as the Costco of snacks faced immense financial strain starting in March 2025, driven by capital allocation imbalances and low profit margins that resulted in bounced checks and an estimated debt burden nearing 200 million New Taiwan Dollars. These operational hurdles ultimately culminated in the closure of his large physical storefront in Chiayi in April 2026.

Despite weathering both public marital dissolution and commercial restructuring, the entrepreneur has signaled an intention to move forward. Having shouldered the responsibility of raising his three children, he resumed his live-streaming operations in mid-2026, traveling to Japan for cross-border sourcing as he pivots his enterprise entirely toward digital platforms.
